Play Dough Activity
Play dough can be used in numerous fun learning educational activities like learning shapes, numbers, big and small, matching activities, alphabet etc.
Play dough Hedgehog
Play dough is an excellent sensory free play medium that allows the kids to feel, imagine, and explore.
We shaped the play dough in form of hedgehog, placed googly eyes, and then inserted wooden sticks (pasta pieces, drinking straws, toothpicks can also be used).
Size differentiation
We learnt about big and small size through different sized star shaped cookie cutters.
Matching the Mini beasts Impressions
We made impressions of caterpillar, scorpion, and frog on the rolled out play dough and tried to match them with individual mini beast. It was so much fun!
Pasta Threading
We added pasta on the wooden sticks on our play dough hedgehog. It helps in developing hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills.
Funny face
We used googly eyes, pasta of different types, some seeds to create funny face. My daughter just loved it!
