DIY enthusiast moms like us always keep craft supplies in stock. But sometimes we miss few things that lead to delay in our DIY project completion. Therefore, I prepared a list of craft supplies which are frequently required by us, different types depending on the DIY projects. I hope this list will be very helpful to all the DIY Moms.

• Adhesives: like scotch tape, cello tape, washi tape, White glue (Fevicol), Glue stick
• Hot glue gun: I use Stanely’s glue gun. It is very handy specially for those who don’t know sewing, like us!!
• Plain and printed sheets of various thickness, foam sheets, felt sheets, glitter foam
• Crayons and paints according to the use and your kid’s age. Currenty, Aanshi uses ball crayons.
• Paint brushes, color mixing palette
• Foam dabber/stampers for different activities
• Sticky notes
• Satin ribbons in different colors and size, jute twines, paper thread, wool.
• Dot stickers and puffy stickers. Dot stickers can be used to teach shapes, alphabet and counting numbers.
• Plastic and paper straws
• Wooden sticks: useful for paly activities with play dough and for learning counting.
• Ice cream sticks- colored and plain
• Q-tips or ear buds
• Googly eyes: available in different sizes in market
• Pipe cleaners: can be used and shaped into different shapes
• Pom-pom balls provide sensory element
• Small paper punches of various designs
• Clothespins: available in big and small size, colored or plain.
• Binder rings: very helpful for flashcards
• Water beads: for good sensory element for DIY activities
• Scissors: plain and zig zag, children safe scissors
• Food colors: in form of powder or liquid. Must have for making home-made play dough and edible paints.
• Bottle caps: have been collecting since 1 year, now have substantial number of bottle caps in different sizes and colors
• Dried twigs for nature play and sensory activities
• Wooden numbers and alphabet
• Pasta of various design: fusilli, spahagetti, macroni
• Spray bottles, dropper, and pipettes
• Self-adhesive velcro dots (hook & loop)
• Lamination pouch for durability of worksheets
