It is good for fine motor skills and sensory development
Foil crumpling
Crumpling of small square pieces of aluminium foil is an effective activity to develop child’s pincer grip. It requires the use of finger muscles to hold and crumple thin pieces of aluminium foil and strengthens the small muscles.
Tinkering with cords
Tangling and untangling of earphone cords involve the use of small muscles of fingers and wrist. Most of the kids love playing with wires and strings. Isn’t it!!

Paper Tearing
Paper tearing again strengthens the hand muscles, and watching them trying to tear the paper is so much FUN! But not clearing up the mess afterwards.
Sticker activities
Stickers are so much fun and very effective for developing fine motor skills. It requires the use of pincer grip to peel off, hold, and grasp the stickers, and placing them on any surface. These stickers keep the child busy for long duration.
Scribbling
Introduce scribbling to the child through easy grip crayons like ball crayons or chalk. It makes the handling and the use easier for the child.
