These are our last week’s activities related to the animal theme.
1. Sensory crafts activity based on book “Marvin gets Mad”
Things Required: Cardboard, paints, adhesive, cotton
Instructions:
- Draw the Marvin sheep with a sharpie on a piece of cardboard.
- Paint the background.
- Make small balls of cotton.
- Apply adhesive (white glue) on the sheep’s body.
- Give the cotton balls to the child and guide him/her to put them on the sheep’s body.
- Let the child explore the texture and play with the cotton balls.

Animal Sticker Matching Activity: Placed animal stickers on a sheet and directed the kid to find the matching animals on the sticker sheet, peel it, and place it in the required space. The activity helps in visual discrimination, hand-eye coordination, and fine motor skills development.
